My stay at W Rome Marriott was made truly unforgettable by the exceptional kindness and genuine hospitality of the team. From the very beginning, there was a sense of care that went far beyond standard service. Every interaction felt thoughtful, human, and sincere. What stood out most was not only the elegance of the hotel itself, which is beautifully designed and full of character, but the way the people behind it bring the space to life. There is a rare balance here between luxury and heart. I left feeling genuinely grateful, uplifted, and eager to return. W Rome is more than a place to stay in Rome, it is a place that stays with you. Highly recommended for anyone seeking not just comfort and style, but a truly human experience of hospitality.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the W Rome while in Rome in May while celebrating my birthday. Before we even stepped into the room, the team had already gone above and beyond to make the occasion special. Waiting for me was a thoughtful surprise: pastries, a bottle of champagne, and even a framed photo of my dog. It was such a personal touch and immediately made me feel welcomed and celebrated. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the bathroom, which was spacious, luxurious, and easily one of the best hotel bathrooms I’ve experienced of late. I could have lived in the shower. We also loved the hotel’s restaurant. The food and service were so good that dinner was one of the highlights of the entire trip. We also went for breakfast and enjoyed that as well. Every meal was excellent. What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. The staff made my birthday feel special from start to finish, and every aspect of the stay exceeded expectations. I would 100% book here again the next time I’m in Rome. Highly recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about this amazing place! The staff is incredible. So kind, very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing! The design is so beautiful- good mix of colors and warmth. Traveled a lot of places around the world and by far one of our best experiences. Also love that there is a Book of Mormon 💛.
As a Marriott titanium member, I give this hotel an overall score of 3.5 stars at most A very negative point: The room service came in a bag! This alone brings it to a 3- star hotel. It is a shame to do so for a hotel that costs over €1000 a night. A strong point is the lovely garden terrace Restaurant. There is however, a little inconvenience with the tables in that terrace : they have a metal bar In between the Table legs ( see photos). Therefore, forcing the person sitting on the chair to sit sideways! The staff is very friendly. Beatrice, at the Reception, was fluently bilingual and very pleasant. I also like to mention Juliette, Alina and Dimitri The decor in General is not very luxurious as it could be and should be. The Marble floors and stairs are very nice, as well as the Marble bathrooms , but they are cheapened by too much PAINTED wood walls and Painted mouldings In the corridors and even in the rooms Another point : The person behind a desk who greeted us at the entrance, regardless of his function, should be in uniform and not in a T-shirt( see photo)! at least he should wear a shirt in the same colour as the General uniform of the staff on the entrance level
We stayed at W Rome from December 18th to 21st in room 214, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel has an excellent location, many of Rome’s iconic attractions are within walking distance, such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and the Pantheon, which made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. At check-in, the staff surprised our children with two little “Rafa the Giraffa” plush toys, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that made them immediately feel welcome. The breakfast was another highlight: it was very varied and catered to all tastes, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The only minor inconvenience was on Friday evening, when there was a bit of noise in the lobby. We mentioned it to the front desk, and the team was very professional and apologetic, they offered us the next day’s breakfast as a complimentary gesture, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this is an excellent hotel with a perfect central location, attentive staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. We would definitely recommend W Rome for a comfortable and memorable family stay in the heart of the Eternal City.
