HOSTARIA de PASSINI! The food, and service were both excellent! We dined on châteaubrionne, lobster and pasta. We had a delicious Amarone wine to compliment the dinner. They gave us free lemoncello after dinner with a welcome to Rome sign. GO TO HOSTARIA!!
Great food, and exceptional service. I ordered the carbonara and a Panna cotta with caramel. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The best carbonara I had in Rome.
We highly recommend this restaurant. Food was exceptional and reasonably priced. We recommend getting the pomodoro and bolognese pastas. They were delicious and best we have had in Rome. The food is nice and hot so you can tell it’s freshly made. Our waiters Alex and Salo were amazing, they provided excellent service. If we had more time in Rome we would definitely come back.
Luigi was great as well as the server staff. After wanting an outside table when none was available, we were at inside. As soon as an outside table became available, we got moved outside. We have wine and mozzarella & tomato bruschette to start and then added a dessert and café. Everything was great and I would recommend trying this restaurant. Dont be surprised if Luigi pulls you off the street to look at the delicious menu!
What a delicious lunch!!!! Burrata appetizer was absolutely fantastic: fresh tomatoes and a gooey burrata. Definitely get focaccia: thin and perfectly toasted with fresh rosemary!! For mains, the amatriciana and carbonara was excellent; flavours were rich and the noodles were cooked perfectly. We were too full for dessert but the freebie limoncello finisher was a nice touch! Service was very warm and friendly. All the staff were good natured and friendly. Alex, in particular, was kind and good-humoured! We sat at outside table which had a great vibe and atmosphere! Fun to people-watch but didn’t feel cramped or busy. Prices were reasonable, even though it’s right in a busy tourist area. Glad we ate here! :)
