Three of us stayed here. The room was great, clean and had a great view. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good for us, walkable to many tourist sites and restaurants.
Beautiful room and location of hotel. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The free buffet breakfast was very good. Cute elevator! No complaints would stay again. Good value for the money.

The entire hotel is spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast is excellent and exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. For the same price, we stayed in a nearby hotel and the conditions were terrible, so be careful when choosing where to stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
We loved the Princeps Boutique Hotel. We had a corner junior suite with 2 windows and a view of Piazza dell'Esquilino. We watched the swallows above the rooftops every morning. The room was beautiful and had a very nice washroom with shower. The breakfasts were a substantial buffet with a lot of choices. The location was near Santa Maria Maggiore with lots of good restaurants in the area. Best of all were the staff. Two of the desk staff Cristiana & Lea helped us when a taxi driver overcharged us "by mistake" 100 euros. (They called the taxi company & helped us get a refund.) Tip: don't use the taxi stand a short distance from this hotel, have the hotel desk staff call a reliable taxi driver they know for you instead.)
We reserved two rooms at this hotel and paid the same price for both, but we noticed that one of the rooms was larger and had a fresher, more pleasant smell than the other. Despite this difference, our overall experience was very positive. We really appreciated being welcomed with bottled water, as well as having a kettle in the room and the possibility to make tea or coffee whenever we wanted. On the hallway, guests also have access to a coffee machine and a water refill station for both still and sparkling water, which was a very thoughtful addition. The area is very quiet, which made our stay relaxing, and the cleanliness is clearly well maintained and carefully monitored. The breakfast was varied and fit perfectly with my vegetarian diet, which we appreciated very much. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable here.
