This accommodation functions more like a guesthouse, which wasn’t fully clear from the Booking description. There is a shared common space with a kettle and microwave for all guests, and a small reception that seems to operate only at certain times. I was able to check in around 11:30, and luckily my room was already ready. The host, Tommy, was very nice and helpful. The property is on the 5th floor with a beautiful view of the square, but the elevator is extremely old. You have to step inside, close the metal door manually, and only then press your floor - so if you’re uncomfortable with old lifts, this might not be ideal. My room was very small but clean, and it was fine for a short solo stay. Amenities were limited (only shampoo and a vanity kit, no soap), so bring your own essentials. Communication via Booking was slow, and while texting via WhatsApp also works, I still recommend calling them directly for anything important. Also, bring the 6 €/day tax in cash, as their card terminal wasn’t working during my stay. I didn’t really like being asked to send a photo of my ID via WhatsApp - I’m not sure how this fits with EU/GDPR rules, and I would have preferred to show my ID in person, but it was okay in the end. I had seen comments calling the place a fraud, which worried me, but the property is legitimate - just a bit unconventional compared to standard hotels. Overall, it’s a decent place for short stays if you’re aware of the guesthouse-style setup.
