Reviews
Amazing, friendly, so helpful, clean, peaceful and elegant! This hotel is the only place you need for your stay in Rome. I was blown away by the customer service. The staff helped me with so many things: lending me a converter to charge my devices, holding our bags before and after our stay, and helping us find locations around us. They even helped me contact the police when my phone was stolen on the bus. The staff helped write a letter in Italian explaining what had happened, and even called the police office to explain my situation. This hotel is also convenient, only meters from the bus and tram station that can take you to all the major sites about 20 minutes away. We found it was peaceful and quiet, and the perfect place to rest during the day. The room was exceptionally clean, the bathroom was big and roomy with great water pressure and hot water, the A/C was cold and easy to use, and the wifi was fast. If you're looking for a peaceful, friendly comfortable hotel, this is the place to be!
Rooms are a bit small but we still had plenty of room for 3 adults. Air conditioning is not widely used but is at the hotel. It is tricky to figure out but we did stay cool our entire trip. Would recommend and would stay here again. Rooftop restaurant was great but pricey.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was quiet, clean, and well maintained, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. We were particularly pleased with the complimentary Prosecco in the spa for my partner’s birthday — a thoughtful touch that was greatly appreciated. The hotel’s location was very convenient, with a tram stop directly outside. Our room was modern, comfortable, and very clean. We will definitely book again if returning to Rome.
I had an absolutely amazing stay at Trilussa Palace Hotel and I honestly don’t understand some of the negative comments I saw before booking. First of all, the staff is outstanding — genuinely kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything. Many guests mention this, and it’s 100% true. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with everything you need. Some reviews say they are small, but honestly this is Rome — and I found the space perfectly well-designed and cozy rather than cramped. The beds were super comfortable and I slept really well. My room was very quiet, and the windows insulated everything perfectly. I had no issues sleeping, even though the hotel is well connected and close to transport. The location is fantastic, especially if you want a more authentic Roman experience in Trastevere, away from the overcrowded tourist areas but still very easy to reach everything by tram or bus. The spa is a highlight — beautiful, relaxing, and definitely worth it after a long day walking in Rome. Many people say it’s one of the best parts of the hotel, and I completely agree. As for the breakfast, I found it varied and fresh, with plenty of choice to start the day well. Overall, the hotel combines comfort, cleanliness, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. It exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome!
Bang average. Rooms are well dated definitely needs an upgrade. Not really like the pictures. Use of the pool is extra. Food in their restaurant is average, and expensive. As an Irishman, don't bother with the breakfast, it was terrible.
