Description
Begin your experience with a warm Italian welcome and a glass of Prosecco. Enjoy Prosecco refills as you soak in the rooftop atmosphere, meet the other participants, and get ready to cook.
Focus on making fresh handmade ravioli. Unlike small, traditional restaurant-style ravioli, create large, beautiful ravioli that are designed to be both delicious and visually impressive. Prepare fresh pasta dough from scratch, learning how to work the dough, roll it out, fill it, shape it, and seal it correctly.
Fill your ravioli with a creamy filling and decorate it, giving you the opportunity to make your pasta personal and creative. The large size makes the ravioli particularly satisfying and fun to prepare, while the decorative details turn each piece into something unique. No previous cooking experience is required: the class is suitable for beginners, and you will be guided through every stage of the process.
Once the ravioli are ready, discover two different ways to enjoy them. During the meal, the handmade ravioli are served with two sauces so you can taste two very different sides of Italian cooking.
The first is a fresh and simple tomato and basil sauce, celebrating some of the most recognizable flavors of Italian cuisine. The second is one of Rome's most famous recipes: cacio e pepe, made with Pecorino Romano and black pepper. The contrast between the freshness of tomato and basil and the rich, creamy character of cacio e pepe allows you to enjoy your handmade ravioli in two completely different ways.
The experience does not end with pasta. Learn how to prepare one of Italy's most famous desserts: tiramisù. Prepare this classic dessert and discover how a few simple ingredients can create one of the most loved Italian recipes in the world. The tiramisù adds a second hands-on activity to the class and gives you another authentic Italian recipe that you can recreate at home.
After cooking, sit down together to eat on the rooftop. This shared meal is an important part of the experience: it is the moment to relax, enjoy the ravioli you have made, talk with the other guests, and experience the convivial side of Italian food culture.
During the meal, receive a glass of Italian red wine, with one additional refill included. Together with the Prosecco served throughout the first part of the experience, the wine helps create the relaxed, social atmosphere of an Italian gathering.
Finish your meal with the homemade tiramisù prepared during the class, followed by a traditional limoncello: the perfect Italian ending to the evening.
