Your tour begins by entering the Ancient Appian Way through St. Sebastian's Gate in the Aurelian Walls, a 2,300-year-old road reflecting Rome’s history from rise to decline.

The 6-hour tour includes a guided underground visit to the Catacombs of St. Callixtus or St. Sebastian. The 4-hour tour features a brief stop and explanation at the Catacombs' entrance.

Continue cycling along the Appian Way, passing mausoleums, tombstones, and ancient aristocratic villas amid quiet countryside.

Finish at the Park of the Aqueducts, where large aqueduct arches stand prominently. Follow the aqueducts back toward the city, cross the green Caffarella Valley, and return to the starting point with one final notable sight.
