From 2026, access to the area closest to the Trevi Fountain will require an official entry ticket priced at two euros and is regulated by the Municipality of Rome. Entry without a dedicated ticket may be denied, especially during busy hours.

This experience limits groups to a maximum of 6 guests per time slot for a more relaxed visit compared to large group tours. You receive priority entrance without the need to buy a ticket on-site or wait in line.

Staff will accompany you and provide an exclusive audio guide to download to your smartphone (headphones not included). The guide explains the fountain’s history, symbols, and the traditional coin-tossing ritual. According to local custom, you toss a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand to ensure a return to Rome.

Participants receive two handcrafted, gold-plated Roman imperial coin reproductions inspired by emperors including Augustus, Tiberius, Claudius, Nero, Trajan, Caracalla, Constantine, and Gallienus. One coin is tossed into the fountain, and the other serves as a keepsake.
