Description
Experience two of Rome’s most fascinating underground sites in a 2.5-hour tour designed for comfort, depth, and smooth organization. Begin with a guided visit to either the Catacombs of Domitilla or the Catacombs of San Callisto, selected based on availability. From our office, a member of our staff will personally assist you and accompany you to the vehicle to ensure everything runs fluently. You will then be transported by private taxi or van directly to the catacombs, where an official guide will lead you through ancient tunnels and burial chambers while explaining early Christian history.
After exploring the catacombs, enjoy a complimentary second underground site, with two possible options depending on the day:
Le Domus Romane – explore the remains of an ancient Roman noble house with an immersive audio-guided experience
or
Basilica di San Clemente – access the basilica independently and discover its underground archaeological levels
This 2.5-hour tour includes round-trip transfers, and is offered in a small-group or private setting to ensure a more personal and relaxed experience.
