Hotel Impero
Rome
Recensioner
Hotel Impero was everything I could have hoped for in a Rome stay. The hotel itself is beautifully presented, immaculately clean and has this wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel like you are somewhere truly special. Truly amazing! The reception team were outstanding, warm, attentive and genuinely a pleasure to deal with from the moment we arrived. What really surprised me was how peaceful it was, had really good night sleeps (bed and pillow were great) in a city as vibrant as Rome. The location is just perfect, everything you want to see is practically so close and within walking distance. An experience I would relive in a heartbeat. Thank you - highly recommend!
The hotel is offers a great quality to price ratio. The staff is super educated and supportive, the hotel is neat and clean, rooms are good and breakfast is ok. As for the location, very good, near to the Termini, in a straight line to the Colosseum area (if you mean to walk) and with available subway stops for both the former and the Vatican. Also, plenty of restaurants around.
First of all, this review is meant purely to inform future guests—I really wish I had been more careful before booking. There are three main issues with this hotel: 1. Extremely poor sound insulation The soundproofing is unbelievably bad. Starting from around 8:30 AM, you can hear cleaning in other rooms (whether next door or across the hall) as if it’s happening inside your own room—the vacuum noise is especially disturbing. At night, you can even hear when someone in the next room uses the bathroom. I stayed for four nights and didn’t get a proper night’s sleep even once. 2. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows The bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. The pillows are incredibly thin—I’m not exaggerating. Your neck is basically left unsupported. In the end, I had to fold the pillow in half just to be able to sleep. 3. Misleading appearance compared to photos In the photos, the hotel looks ethnic, old, and charmingly authentic. However, once you arrive, you notice things like the worn red carpet at the entrance and a large mirror that clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. It gives the impression that nothing has been updated or properly maintained for quite a while.
A very centrally located hotel walkable from termini station and lot of sight seeing places. A quaint old world charm to the decor and rooms. Rooms are decent but the corridor to walk and lift was small. Staff were pleasant and helpful. A very decent spread of breakfast and tasty too. A good experience and enjoyed our stay!!
