Reviews
Touristy place, but I still enjoyed it. The food was actually quite good. I recommend the Tonnarelli pasta. The Carbonara and Amatriciana were both great. Gnocchi with clams was underwhelming just because the clams were so tiny. Tonnarelli has much better texture than spaghetti in my opinion. Fast, efficient service, which is sometimes what we were looking for during a jam packed itinerary exploring Rome.
This restaurant is simply amazing! First of all, the food is absolutely delicious. We visited twice during our stay in Rome. The first time, we ordered the Carbonara and the Lasagna. I have to say, I have never had such a light and delicate lasagna, nor such a rich and flavorful Carbonara. On our second visit, my friend and I ordered two pizzas — the Funghi and the Rustica — along with their homemade tiramisu. It was so incredible that we immediately ordered another serving! The coffee was excellent as well. We were served by Karen and Cecilia (apologies if I misspelled your names). The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was just as wonderful. If I ever return to Rome, this will be the very first place I visit.
We were lucky enough to stumble across this restaurant because of our Airbnb location and can’t say enough great things. The service was amazing. But the food and drinks were to die for. We had the meatballs as an appetizer with the bread focaccia and it was amazing! I had the pasta carbonara and my husband had the spicy salami pizza and both were excellent. Full warning, the electricity wiring is older so the electricity did go out while we were having dinner. The staff handled it with grace and provided candles that set for a beautiful, romantic dinner. If you’re in Rome, make sure to check this out!
Best food so far in last days in Rome! Friendly and warm staff but busy so expect a distraction of your serving staff. Food was AMAZING! Prosecco was served for folks waiting in the queue which is very kind and respectful of them! The lady who served was lovely! The staff does go an extra to make you feel welcomed! 2nd trip 🤩😉 Without looking at the menu this time and no queue give it’s was Monday afternoon lunch time which was bizarre and great at the same time time! Absolutely LOVE this place!! Definitely give this a go!
