Trevi Palace Luxury Inn
Rome
Beoordelingen
We are currently staying in the Trevi palace and I can’t give it a high enough review. We had booked the suit but unfortunately the air con had a small problem. We were offered the suit in their sister hotel but chose to stay here in one of their lesser suits here. These things can’t always be helped. I can’t praise the staff enough, From the gentleman on reception to the very pleasant young man who took us up to our room. It’s like nothing is too much of a problem. Right next to the Trevi fountain and so central to almost everything. Again incredible staff that the hotel should be very proud of, well worth the visit.
Our room was grubby and dirty. Nothing luxury about it. If you didn’t go down for breakfast before 9am (serves between 7:30 and 10:30) hardly anything left. Had to ask for the coffee to be heated up every morning. Location was great, very close to the Trevi fountain and lots of restaurants, metro station but very noisy late into the evening and early mornings.
Hotel is in a great location which means you can walk to any of the attractions if the weather is nice, we walked to the Colluseum and the Vatican City. Its surrounded by great restaurants, bars and shops but do remember some of them have prices hiked up as it's near the fountain. Rooms are basic, but clean. There's a mini fridge and a working TV. Breakfast is exactly what you'd expect, but enjoyable and they offer some great pastries. Staff at reception are nice and helpful. However, the bins are collected every night. Normal and recycling, and then the sweepers come. By every night I mean 1am-5am. Because the buildings are so close to each other the noise ricocheted and it was SO loud. The Aircon only went to a certain power, so we weren't able to cool down so we had to have the window open and we did struggle to get any sleep. Also seagulls? Squawking all night long to add to the noise. There was also a mysterious mosquito in the room which we couldn't catch but went to town 😂
Location perfect Many fab restaurants around the hotel Staff brilliant breakfast very good room big enough for 3 adults clean fresh towels everyday arranged a taxi back to the airport brilliant Downside Very nosey through the night bins emptied between 1-4am deliveries all night and the seagulls were horrendous throughout the night Not sure I'd stop again just because of the nosey outside
Absolutely fabulous place to stay, travelled with my husband and 8 month old son. Amazing location, walking distance to most sights, as for the Vatican etc., 8 mins walk to Barberini Metro station and it's a couple of stops! Surrounded by scrumptious restaurants and cafe's selling cannoli and other pastries/desserts. Lovely choices for breakfast. Clean, tidy and presentable room - we stayed in Leonardo 3. Receptionist (really sorry, we didnt get your name! Woman with dark hair, red glasses) was absolutely lovely. Incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitley be staying again when we next visit and have highly recommended this hotel to friends and relatives. Thank you for a delightful stay 💚🤍❤️
