Comfortable and tidy room, with a good and complete bathroom. Nice, quiet back garden! And the staff is very helpful! The location is central for seeing all the sights in Rome and is close to the many restaurants and bars in Trastevere.
We stayed here a few weeks ago. SO, the pluses - rooms are decent. AND as a few other reviews stated there is a giant prison right there. The reception was not very friendly, and that was offputting upon arrival, but after hours is where it really gets "interesting". There was loud screaming from the prison for hours at night, and police cars with sirens - it was far from peaceful and we could not really sleep. Room location makes a difference. Also, it's in an odd neighborhood and the entrance looks derelict.
Fantastic hotel on a great place! It is located a 10 minute walk from the historical center of Rome and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely book again if in Rome. Thanks to the wonderful staff. Note: many people say the prison next to the hotel is a problem, for me it was interesting to be next to it, as it is a historical place. Also no problems with the noise from the prison.
