Relais Le Clarisse a Trastevere
Rome
Beoordelingen
The name Le Clarisse is a hint to the origin of this comfortable hotel in Trastevere, just across the river from Rome’s historic centre. It was built in the 16th century as a convent for nuns of the Poor Clare (Clarisse) order. Rooms are arranged around a lovely courtyard that’s a perfect spot for breakfast, aperitivo or just relaxing with a book. There are also a few rooms in an adjoining building. While all rooms are clean with modern bathrooms, they vary greatly in size – some have very generous balconies while others are quite small. You get what you pay for, so do your research ahead of booking. Rooms are accessed without keys, by an ‘app’ on your mobile phone – if this isn’t your thing, consider staying in the group’s other hotel near the Pantheon which is also very comfortable and great value. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it’s well located for a walk to all the main sites and best restaurants.
Great hotel in a great location. Quiet and not crowded neighborhood close to Santa Maria and Janiculum Hill. Room was super clean, access was easy and convenient, and right on the corner for a taxi to pick you up. Only problem we experienced was the room was kind of hot at night (May), wasn’t able to figure out how to keep the AC running all night.
We had a really great Week here. The rooms are nice and super clean. Trastevere is lively area in rome, so some noise in the night is unfortunately something normal. But in Return this means, that just around the corner are a lot of Bars and Restaurants to explore. The Hotel has a good Connection to Public Transportation but, you can also start to explore the City by foot. Everybody working there was really friendly and awesome. We had a super time here. Thank you for the great time
