For €120 per night we got a small room for two people - the room itself was nice cosy clean and had basic amenities + AC. It was a great location for exploring, most attractions within walking distance and very close to the metro. What ruined our stay was that we were asked to pay €20 extra for not paying by cash (to avoid the hotel paying tax) . We obviously weren’t carrying around that amount in cash in Rome, so had no choice but to pay by card. Also we were initially told tourist tax was included, but after we had checked in to our room and settled in, we was asked to return to reception later to pay tourist tax separately as it turns out it wasn’t included. How could a member of staff not be aware of whether it’s included or not in the room rate? Anyway, just be aware of being asked to pay additional charges / fees at this hotel.
I can't say enough fantastic things about hotel!! Rooms are roomy, beds comfy, hotel secured at night, the location cannot be beat, and the staff!!! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! From the time we walked in, daily interactions and help with transportation, the staff is the gold star here!!
