One of the best hotels I have stayed at. We enjoyed the design aesthetics and cleanliness or the building and our room. The staff was very friendly. There were no language barriers. Almost everyone spoke English. The air conditioning was super cold during hot Roman summer days and nights. The thick concrete walls from the transformed convent offered excellent noise isolation as well. The location is amazing. It's surrounded by restaurants and shops. We were able to walk to all of the major attractions in the historic district, other than the Colosseum (which was an easy cab ride away).
We booked Palazzo Ripetta via the Amex travel site, and based on previous excellent Google reviews. Every member of staff we had contact with was warm, friendly, and helpful, from the first email when we booked to the last arrivederci as the bellman put us into our car to the train. The concierge and front desk made our arrival and departure seamless by prearranging our rides from the airport and to the train station, which was much appreciated. The room itself was spotless, with everything we could need and all to a very high standard. The beds were very comfortable, the marble bath was gorgeous as well as perfectly functioning in every way, with a spacious double-size rain shower and Oritigia amenities. We were there during a heat wave and happy to report the a/c was more than up to the task. The location is very central and we were able to walk almost everywhere on our itinerary, both for shopping and sightseeing. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Rome!
We had such an incredible stay at Palazzo Ripetta. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located in the heart of Rome, but what truly sets it apart is the people. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome. Constantine, who greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the hotel, immediately made us feel at home. The concierge team—Roberta, Marta, and Daniela—was exceptional. Whether it was securing a last-minute dinner reservation, arranging a Vatican tour, or organizing a private in-home cooking experience (which ended up being one of the highlights of our entire three-week trip through Europe), they handled everything with incredible care and enthusiasm. Daniela deserves special recognition. By the end of our stay, we felt like we had truly gotten to know her. When we ran into issues with our airline reservations, she actually sat down with us and helped us sort everything out. That level of kindness and personal attention is incredibly rare. Palazzo Ripetta is more than just a beautiful hotel—it’s a place where every member of the staff makes you feel like you’re coming home. We were genuinely sad to leave and are already looking forward to returning next year. Bellissimo!
What made this stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone really stood out. The room was large comfortable and the air conditioning worked like a champion during an exceptional heat wave. To be honest I have a love hate relationship with the city but not with the Romans. They are delightful! We want to visit again but in the late fall with smaller crowds. We will return!! Thank you.
This happens to be the most wonderful hotel ive ever been too. Me and my husband are on our honeymoon and we got upgraded to a jr suite for free and gifted a free bottle of wine. Valerio and Francesco were unbelievably kind and welcoming. They got us everything we needed and more! Always right there when you need them. All the staff were caring. Place smells great, looks great and feels amazing. Your also right in the middle of the historic center!!
