Our stay at Orazio Palace Hotel was excellent from start to finish, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. The highlight of our stay was Giulia at the front desk. She truly went above and beyond every single day. She spoke several languages fluently, taught us a little Italian, and was always happy to answer questions or offer recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and hidden gems around the city. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the hotel and Rome itself, and her kindness and professionalism made us feel genuinely welcome. She also held our luggage before check-in, which made it so much easier to enjoy our firs day exploring Rome without having to carry our bags. Giulia was the biggest reason our trip was as enjoyable as it was. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It's in a very walkable neighborhood with easy access to many of Rome's top attractions, especially Vatican City. We were able to explore much of the city on foot, which made the experience even better. The breakfast on the top floor was outstanding—without question one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. There was a great selection of high-quality food, and the rooftop setting was a wonderful way to start each morning. While everything about the property was wonderful, it was Giulia's exceptional hospitality that truly set the hotel apart. Because of her, we would gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.
My husband and I visited Rome in July 2026. The area surrounding the hotel is great. Relaxing, calm, close to the metro line, and walking distance to major areas. The A/C (air conditioning) in the room worked fantastic during our stay, which was my #1 priority when booking. We didn't have a chance to hangout in the restaurant or rooftop area, but it looked like a fun vibe. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. Rooftop bar was fun and has great views of th Vatican. It was an easy walk to the Vatican. My husband and I found the location was walkable to all the major sights, but we love to walk. If not, it would be a quick taxi ride to other sights.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. More than happy to store our bags after checkout. The location is great, being very close to the subway station, not to mention how incredible the rooftop bar is. Had a fantastic stay. Thank you.
We recently stayed at the Orazia Palace Hotel in Rome and overall had a really pleasant experience. The hotel itself is lovely, in a great part of the city, with a very good breakfast and a well-equipped gym. However, the biggest downside was the lack of air conditioning or any way to regulate the room temperature. Our room was extremely hot when we arrived — and this was in February. The only way to cool it down was to open the window, but doing so meant raising the automatic blind completely, leaving the room fully visible from outside. If you closed the window and blind, the room quickly became very warm again. This isn’t what we expected from a 4-star hotel, and it does make us wonder what the rooms would be like in the middle of summer. Overall, it was a nice stay, but we would only return if the rooms had proper air conditioning. If you’re planning a summer trip, it’s definitely something to think about.
