we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. we arrived before check in and were able to leave our luggage, which made exploring the city so much easier. they also let us store our bags after check out on our last day as our flight wasn’t until much later, and there was even a toilet available for guests to use when we came back to collect them. the room was clean and had everything we needed. the bed was big and comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly which was a lifesaver in the summer heat, and there was a wardrobe, hair dryer, mini fridge and tv. the shower was easy to use and the traditional wooden shutter windows were a lovely touch. the location was excellent, just a short walk from roma termini which made getting around the city and to the airport really easy. the only extra cost to be aware of is the city tax, which we paid in cash on arrival. for two people staying four nights it came to €48. overall we had a really comfortable stay and the friendly staff and convenient location made it a great base for exploring rome.
Overall a really pleasant stay at hotel scott house. Customer service there was impeccable, everyone so friendly and welcoming. Room was suitable for stay, bathroom a little small but everything was pretty clean. Loved the window and shutters that overlooked the street. Very easy to get to from Termini. The breakfast was OK, cappuccino was nice. Only downside to the place was 1 lift that sometimes took a while, we were on the 5th floor so needed to use it quite alot. Friendly tip pack some earplugs...not the hotels fault at all but the street outside is super noisy and especially the street sweepers at around midnight until sometimes 2/3am.
We was pleasantly surprised. We were at first a little apprehensive upon arrival, but once greeted and shown to our rooms, we were quite surprised. The rooms were extremely clean and great value for money. The hotel is round the corner from the Train Terminal which at night can host a few of the homeless but we had no trouble or issues. Would definitely use this hotel again if we came back. The hotel is a short walk to most of the major sights, 25 min walk to Trevi Fountain, The Collaseum to name a few. The walks to and from these places are really great to do aswell because of the Roman style cobbled stoned typical streets which are really beautiful. Do not takes taxis, do not takes buses! WALK! You'll appreciate it more
We stayed here for 4 nights and found the room fresh and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping is fantastic and rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided. The front desk are very friendly and always available. Breakfast is fine if you want something quick before heading out, obviously there are plenty of external choices, but for convenience it is great. My only negative is the air con in the room. It was 34 degrees (c) throughout and the air con in the room simply did not provide any cooling making it very hot, luckily we had a hand held fan to help, but a fan in the room would have been good if the air con is not going to be improved.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The entire place was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast: varied, fresh, and delicious, especially the cornetti 🥐🥐🥐which were absolutely amazing. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming 🥰🥰🥰In particular, Lyn❣️ was incredibly kind, friendly, and caring throughout our stay, and her colleagues were equally helpful and professional. The location is excellent: truly top-class. Being so close to Termini Station made it incredibly convenient to travel around Rome and easily access transportation whenever we needed it. We also appreciated the 24-hour reception and the easy, secure entrance directly from the street. Our room was very quiet despite the central location, and it was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Rome. And if we return to the Eternal City, we will definitely choose this hotel again ☺️☺️☺️
