The renovations were superb -- the hotel is beautiful, rich with its culture, history and all things Roman. We loved our suite #105 and were grateful for the delicious chocolate cake from the in-house baker and champagne to help us celebrate our anniversary. The breakfast buffet was fantastic -- wonderful variety of fresh goodies. We never needed to order from the menu because it was all so yummy (specifically we loved the fresh ripe figs, the freshly baked breads and foccacia, the fresh ricotta). We look forward to returning soon. Thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Hotel d'Inghilterra is everything a Roman hotel should be: timeless, elegant, and genuinely warm. The hotel sits in one of Rome's most coveted neighborhoods, steps from Via Condotti and the Spanish Steps, yet tucked just enough away to feel like a quiet retreat from the city. It's in the perfect location - you can step out for an early morning coffee and feel like a local, then walk to world-class shopping, restaurants, and monuments without ever needing a taxi. The rooms are beautiful and classically decorated with real character and care, not the anonymous luxury you find at larger properties. Not to mention, their rooftop has some of the best views and cocktails in the city. But what truly sets Hotel d'Inghilterra apart is the hospitality - all of the staff is absolutely welcoming and wonderful. I absolutely love this hotel.

I absolutely love this hotel. The people who work here are so kind, so welcoming, so exceptional. They made me feel welcome and special. The concierge was the most lovely woman, she went above and beyond. The bellman were always smiling as we returned and made us feel so happy to be back. The food is absolutely delicious! The location is the best in Rome and the decor is beautiful. I can only hope and pray to stay here again and again.

I recently stayed at the Hotel d’Inghilterra during my first visit to Rome, and in short I absolutely loved the hotel. What initially appealed to me, after doing some research, was a combination of its location, its history and style, and its favorable reviews. In all counts Hotel d’Inghilterra exceeded all of my expectations. The location somehow manages to be both right in the heart of one of the most tourist-heavy parts of the city, sitting barely a five minute walk from the Spanish Steps and one block over from Via Condotti, but somehow the corner that the hotel lives on feels removed from all that, almost like a little oasis in the middle of the bustle and bustle. In other words, if you want to be right in the center of things but don’t want to feel surrounded by chaos the moment you set foot outside in the morning, Inghilterra is perfect. Then there’s its design and service. Grand, but somehow also still playful and not stuffy. I booked a Junior Suite and absolutely loved the room I was placed in, with its richly patterned walls, colored velvets, wood and marble furniture and high ceiling. The hotel lounges off the lobby were equally beautiful, richly and stylishly decorated. All in all the hotel has a ton of old world elegance and charm, feeling every bit like an escape from reality. That old world elegance extends to the service as well, with a front desk and door team who was all smiles and warmth at any time of day or night. Housekeeping as well was always ready with a smile and a greeting. I could go on and on, but I’ll sum it up simply with this: I cannot wait until my next stay at Hotel d’Inghilterra.

Just spent three nights. Room beautifully refurbished with a delightful private terrace. The hotel generally has been refurbished to a high standard. Small breakfast areas but very pleasant and first class friendly service where the staff are keen to help. Cooked breakfast is available and a buffet table as well with a decent variety on offer. The location is unbelievable being in a quiet side street right in the best and most central part of Rome yet only a few hundred yards from the Spanish Steps. Service seems to be paramount throughout as it is rare to find such helpful and charming staff in all departments especially the concierge desk. All in all we would certainly return, and can highly recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone seeking a high quality hotel in poss the best location in Rome.
