Our stay at Relais Fontana Di Trevi was wonderful! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Trevi Fountain and surrounded by countless restaurants, bars, cafés, snack spots, and gelato shops. It’s the perfect home base for exploring Rome. We stayed here late in July and the area is super busy. Our room on the third floor was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had excellent air conditioning, which was especially appreciated during this summer’s European heatwave. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the incredible hospitality of Natasha and Saveria. (Thank you both so much!!!) From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to help make our time in Rome memorable—from recommending the perfect places to shop for Italian leather handbags (my number one souvenir goal for Italy, and I found THE perfect bag!) to pointing us toward an amazing restaurant for carbonara and even helping us with reservations. Their local knowledge and thoughtfulness made exploring the city so much easier and more enjoyable. It’s the people who often make a place special, and Natasha and Saveria are a huge part of what made our stay so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Relais Fontana Di Trevi to anyone visiting Rome.
Our room was very spacious. The walls were pretty scuffed up which detracted from the overall appearance. But the room was clean and cool! It was also very quiet which considering how close to Trevi Fountain we were was surprising. Thankfully we packed somewhat light as the elevator was out of service. Shoutout to Paola as she coordinated our transportation from the cruise port and to the airport. She was very patient as our needs kept changing. We did have a little snag at the port as they only sent one van although we requested two. This may have been a transportation issue and not the hotel, but they quickly found another van. Would definately recommend staying here, especially if you want to be close to all the old city monuments.
Location was great. Room had an amazing view of the Trevi fountain. Room were very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was that our room was directly below the rooftop bar. So from about 8pm until 2:00 in the morning you hear them dragging tables and chairs back and forth. But it was still worth it.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Rome. Everything about this place felt like true 5-star service, from the moment we arrived to the second we left. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made everything feel like home. The rooms were spotless, and really comfortable. The location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of everything and literally a 1 min walk from the Trevi Fountain, which made the whole experience even more special. Also, Clarissa was amazing, so thank you for making our stay even better! If you’re coming to Rome and want something central, convenient, and genuinely high quality, this is the place. Already can’t wait to come back!
The rooms are comfortable, and well decorated. The showers are a little tiny. I booked a double room and the view wasn't great (apparently all the double rooms look onto the courtyard) but I mentioned this to the reception staff and they changed my room straight away. the location is brilliant - within walking distance from most things you'd want to see. The view of the Trevi fountain is slightly limited but, to be honest, it gets so busy right outside you'd not want to be looking over it totally as it's very noisy. The staff are excellent and very friendly and really can't do enough to help. I'd definitely stay there again, having chosen the right room.
