Description

Discover the beauty of the Vatican Gardens and the Sistine Chapel on this combo experience of bus tour and museums visit. Enjoy amazing views from an open-air minibus. Visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel at your own pace with your reserved entrance. Visit the Castel Sant'Angelo, explore the museum's seven floors to discover an extensive collection of ancient artifacts and perfectly preserved frescoes from the Renaissance period. Built in 135 AD for the Roman Emperor Hadrian, the building has played an important part in Rome’s architectural history. Take a bus for 45 minutes to this exclusive landscaped area of the Vatican Gardens, designed by the great Renaissance architect Carlo Maderno and immerse yourself in the splendor. Meet the House of the Pope Emeritus, Vatican Radio, the Academy of Sciences, the former Summer Residence of the Pope, the Vatican Government Palace, a piece of the original Berlin Wall and the 'Fountain of the Kite', a lovely fountain with nice water games. Enjoy a visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel at your own pace. There are countless things to see, but make sure you don’t miss the 5 highlights: the 4 dazzling Raphael Rooms that make up the public part of the Popes' apartments, the Torso del Belvedere, the San Girolamo in the desert of Leonardo Da Vinci, the Round Room and the Sistine Chapel. Discover the history of Castel Sant'Angelo mausoleum-turned-museum with skip-the-line, hosted access. Located on the right bank of the Tiber only a short distance from the Vatican City, the Castel Sant'Angelo is an ancient fortress with centuries of history.
