Enhance your visit with a delightful aperitif in the serene Pinecone Courtyard, a spacious 300-square-meter open area located adjacent to the museum’s corridors and halls. The courtyard is named after the impressive bronze pinecone statue at its center, situated atop a double ramp staircase designed by Michelangelo. Please cover your shoulders and knees (shorts are not allowed) The Vatican Museums reserve free admission to all disabled visitors with a certified disability of more than 74%. In case of not self-sufficient, the free ticket is also extended to a companion. You must enter the Vatican at the time stated on your ticket. Latecomers will not be admitted. The Aperitif will take place into the Pinecone Courtyard, inside the Vatican Museums. Please bring a valid ID for children. Children under 6 years old are free. The Vatican Museums reserve the right to close any section, including the Sistine Chapel, due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.
