The basilica features works by Bernini and Michelangelo, including the famous sculpture of St. Peter and the famous fresco of The Last Judgement. As St. Peter’s Basilica is a major pilgrimage site, it may be closed without prior notice for any religious event. Please be aware that St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on some religious holidays, including Christmas and New Year’s Day. The 3-hour tour in this scenario will occur in different areas of the Vatican Museums. Please note that the tour itinerary may vary depending on various reasons.
