Description

1. Skip the line and take a rowboat on the lake of Villa Borghese (duration 20 minutes), rowing at your own pace and independently. A perfect combination of art, history, and nature. Surrounded by lush vegetation and centuries-old trees, you can admire enchanting views of the park, with the Temple of Aesculapius reflected on the calm waters, creating an almost timeless atmosphere. One of the highlights is this neoclassical temple, located on a small island in the center of the lake, built between 1785 and 1792. Dedicated to the god of medicine, Aesculapius, the temple is surrounded by dense vegetation that enhances its majesty. Its neoclassical lines, reflection in the water, and the tranquility of the lake make it one of the most photographed and admired places in Villa Borghese. 2. After the rowing boat tour, a well-deserved Roman aperitif awaits you in a historic café, located right next to the lake and framed by elegant fountains. Your reserved table, surrounded by greenery and set up outdoors, will allow you to enjoy a drink of your choice (alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or soft drink) or, for every two adults, a bottle of Prosecco sparkling wine accompanied by delicious appetizers such as mini pizzas, rustici, and tramezzini. This iconic location, frequented by artists and actors and often chosen as a film set, offers not only a refreshing break but also the opportunity to experience a unique moment in an elegant and timeless atmosphere. PLEASE NOTE: Do not go directly to the boarding point or restaurant as you will not be admitted. Access is only permitted when accompanied by our specially authorized staff.
