Important Information

  • The Vatican Museums offer free admission to all disabled visitors with a certified disability of more than 74%. If the visitor is not self-sufficient, a free ticket is also provided for one companion. Please note that entry to St. Peter's Basilica and Dome does not include skip-the-line access. While St. Peter's Basilica is free to enter, the queue during high season can last up to an hour and a half. All visitors must pass through security. The elevator does not go to the top of the dome; you will need to climb 300 stairs. Additionally, entrance to the Vatican requires adherence to a strict dress code. Latecomers will not be admitted, and this tour is not recommended for pregnant women, or participants with heart conditions, back problems, or other serious medical issues. Please note that the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
