Description
We'll kick off the tour by admiring the Colosseum, sharing its history and purpose, from public games to the events that made it the symbol of Roman power. We'll continue along Via dei Fori Imperiali, stopping at scenic spots to observe the Roman Forum and the Imperial Forums: from the Templum Pacis of Vespasiano to the Forum of Nerva, from that of Augustus to Julius Caesar, up to the Trajan's Market with the majestic Trajan's Column, the final point of the Tour. At the end of the walk, we'll also briefly discuss the urban transformations of Piazza Venezia in the twentieth century. The tour takes place completely in the open air, allowing you to experience the extraordinary testimonies of ancient Rome without entering the archaeological sites.Includes
