• Meet your guide in Via del Colosseo nr 31, above the second floor of the Colosseum metro stop (blue line), behind Caffe Roma. An official ID will be required for every participant when entering the monument. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument. The names provided during the booking process must match the ID provided at the entrance of the Colosseum The tour will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the officials for safety reasons) There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The waiting time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour, you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time. If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group unless you reschedule.
