Description

Our journey begins at Oppio Caffè, located at Via delle Terme di Tito, 72. Here, we will meet and start our scenic tour in the nostalgic Fiat 500, one of Italy’s iconic symbols. We’ll begin right in front of the famous Colosseum, setting the stage for an unforgettable exploration of Rome’s past. We will first take a drive around the Colosseum's exterior, marveling at its impressive architecture and imagining the gladiatorial contests that once took place here. Built in 80 AD, the Colosseum remains a symbol of the grandeur of the Roman Empire, and we’ll feel the magnificence of this ancient monument. Next, we will pass by the Roman Forum and head towards Circus Maximus. As we drive through this ancient heart of Rome, we’ll step back in time to experience the political, commercial, and daily life that flourished here. The Roman Forum dates back to the 7th century BC, while Circus Maximus, once the largest stadium in the ancient world, hosted thrilling chariot races for up to 250,000 spectators. Our next stop will be Giardino degli Aranci (Orange Garden), where we’ll take a short break to relax and enjoy panoramic views of the city. From this vantage point, we’ll see breathtaking views of St. Peter's Basilica, framed by an optical illusion in the garden—a perfect photo opportunity. We will then head to Gianicolo Hill (Janiculum Hill), where we’ll take a relaxing break and enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Rome. This location is not only known for its stunning views but also for its historical significance as a strategic point during the Roman Republic. While sipping your coffee, you’ll enjoy the beauty of the Eternal City and its breathtaking scenery. The tour will end with your choice of one of three iconic destinations: Colosseum: End your tour right at the majestic Colosseum, where you can experience the awe-inspiring grandeur of this ancient amphitheater and feel the Roman Empire’s legacy firsthand. Trastevere: Experience the local charm of Trastevere, with its narrow cobblestone streets, traditional restaurants, and colorful buildings that offer a more authentic and vibrant side of Rome. Vatican: Conclude your journey at the Vatican, home to St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square, where you’ll be in awe of the incredible beauty and historical significance of one of the world’s most iconic sites. With the nostalgic Fiat 500 as your vehicle, you’ll experience Rome’s most beautiful landmarks in a unique, stylish way. Whether you end your tour at the Colosseum, Trastevere, or the Vatican, each destination promises an unforgettable experience.
