Description

Meet your guide and begin your 2 hour walking tour by entering Rome's maze of charming cobblestoned streets and alleyways. Escape the traffic and crowds and be transported back to the city's Baroque-era grandeur. Along the way, your guide will recount stories and historical anecdotes of the many little fountains, buildings, and hidden piazzas that are tucked away in nearly every corner of the city. As you weave in and out of the labyrinth of narrow streets you’ll suddenly find yourself in front of the breathtaking Pantheon, the only completely intact pagan temple left in Rome. Continue on to the world-famous Trevi Fountain. Admire its beauty and toss a coin in the fountain to ensure your return to the Eternal City. Stop at a favorite Roman gelateria for some of the best Italian ice cream you’ve ever had! The tour concludes with a visit to Piazza Navona, the home of Bernini's fabulous 4 Rivers Fountain and Rome's many talented sidewalk artists and musicians. Please note: Tours booked on the first Sunday of the month or on national holidays will not include Pantheon entry.
