Description

Welcome in Frascati! You will be recommended to reach Frascati via a short and comfortable train ride from Roma termini station (See train instructions at the end of this paragraph), or you will opt to reach the farmhouse with your own car, taxi or Uber! You will enjoy a convivial experience in a family-run ancient Wine Farmhouse, located in the valleys of the Frascati Wine, only 7 minutes distant from the town of Frascati. Here the family has cultivated vineyards and olive trees for nine generations, and produced jug wine directly in the old cellar. The farmhouse is now a sort of 'Frascati Wine Museum' surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, where the family spread the culture of local good wines and good food. You will have a guided visit around the vineyard to enjoy beautiful landscapes and you will enjoy a guided tasting of 3 Boutique Wines and EVO Oil paired with italian snacks, followed by a traditional LUNCH prepared by the Chef directly at the family farmhouse! At the end of the experience, you will be transferred back in town where you will take the return train from the city center to Rome! The WINE TASTING & FARMHOUSE LUNCH experience will start at 12:00 at the Farmhouse! IF YOU COME BY TRAIN: We recommend taking the 9:49 a.m. train from Roma Termini station to Frascati, a quick and comfortable 24 minutes ride! Once you arrive at Frascati station at 10:20 a.m., feel free to take a leisurely stroll through the historic city center or unwind at one of the charming local bars, like “Fondi” or “Belvedere” in Piazza Roma, while waiting for our pickup. Frascati’s center is home to a beautiful Baroque cathedral that’s well worth a visit! The meeting point for our pick up (only for those arriving by train) will be in front of the Frascati train station at 11:45am! (piazzale Sandro Pertini, 00044 Frascati), where we will pick you up with a quick 8 minute drive to go to the Farmhouse and start the experience ! INSTRUCTIONS FOR SATURDAYS ONLY (times are different) IF YOU COME BY by Car, Taxi or Uber we will meet directly at Minardi Frascati Winery (on google maps, via san marco 00044 Frascati) at 12:00. Please inform the activity provider in case you arrive with your car/taxi/Uber. IF YOU COME BY TRAIN: On Saturdays only, you can arrive in Frascati center directly with the early train at 8:54am from Roma Termini to FRASCATI station. In this case, We will have our meeting point in Frascati town in the square of the central station (piazzale Sandro Pertini 00044 Frascati) at 11:45am! In the meantime, if you want, you can explore the city center or reach the bars on top of the Piazza Roma square in Frascati center in case you need coffee or breakfast , there are also public restrooms in the building of bar Belvedere on the opposite side of the bar . We promise you a truly unique experience in the enchanting hills surrounding the Eternal City!

• In order to reach the meeting point, located behind the yellow taxi stand right outside the entrance of Frascati Train station, we suggest you to reach Frascati by the comfortable and short train ride from Roma Termini station to Frascati station! It is a 20 minutes ride and the tickets cost 2 Eur per person.
