Strict Timed Entry and Late Arrival Policy: Vatican Museums entry is timed. Late arrivals may be refused with no refund. Skip-the-Line Entry and Security Screening: You can skip the ticket line, but all visitors must pass security. Allow extra time. Dress Code for Vatican Entry: Shoulders and knees must be covered. Sleeveless tops, shorts, miniskirts, and low-cut outfits are not allowed. Prohibited Items at Entry: Weapons, glass, sharp objects, food, and alcohol Self-Guided Basilica Visit for Late Tours: For tours starting at 3:00 PM or later, the Basilica visit is self-guided. Basilica and Sistine Chapel Closures and Access Restrictions: St. Peter’s Basilica is closed Wednesday mornings and on Dec 24 and 31. Access may also be restricted without notice due to events like Jubilee Masses or Sede Vacante. More time will be spent in the Museums. No refunds apply.
