More of a boarding house than a hotel. Shower didn’t work properly. Never seen a hotel with multiple signs requiring silence before. Staff was very nice. AC worked well
We adored our experience at Eccelso! Anca was fabulous and attentive to our every need. The location was perfect for our needs - close to the Vatican and close to one of the best metro lines in Rome (Ottaviano, red line!). We also had so many incredible restaurants nearby, which made our foodie hearts happy. Great value for our money!!!
This is a small hotel in a convenient location. As a solo female traveller I felt safe to walk around the area at night. It’s close to the metro and 30-45 minute walk to the central area. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s a delicious breakfast available to deliver to the room for €5. The walls are a little thin, so there is some noise around 8am as breakfast begins. There’s also no overnight receptionist. The staff here are wonderful. Anca in particular was so friendly and gave me some great recommendations I would stay here again
Went for my mother's 80th birthday. Wonderful experience. Just got back today after being there three of days. The staff was so helpful, they recommended places to eat. Love that she spoke English and Spanish and could communicate with us. I will stay there again soon.
The room is very clean, beyond my expectations. It is right next to the Vatican, and the price is really good. The young lady at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful. She also helped my mother to carry my luggage,introduced the surroundings and public transportation. The hotel is located in a very lively area, surrounded by many restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommended. Thank you! We had a good time there!
