I stayed at this hotel and, overall, the room was fine. Unfortunately, my experience with one member of the reception staff was extremely disappointing. When I checked in, I added an extra night to my reservation and specifically asked whether I could keep the same room. The receptionist confirmed that I could. On the day that was originally supposed to be my check-out date, I was called and asked to come downstairs to check out. I went to the reception to calmly explain that my stay had been extended and that I had already been told I could remain in the same room. While I was explaining the situation, the receptionist (a bearded man) was called by someone at the entrance. Instead of politely excusing himself or telling me he would be back in a moment, he made a dismissive hand gesture toward me, as if telling me to stop talking or move aside while he attended to someone else. I found this gesture extremely disrespectful and humiliating. He walked away without a single apology, making me feel as though neither I nor what I had to say mattered. Thankfully, a younger receptionist saw it and immediately stepped in. He was polite, professional, attentive, and genuinely willing to help. I sincerely thank him for his kindness and professionalism. What made the situation even more disappointing was seeing that the receptionist was perfectly courteous with other guests, yet I was treated very differently. I cannot know the reason, but the experience left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and questioning whether I was treated differently because of who I am. A hotel welcomes guests from all over the world. Every paying guest deserves the same level of courtesy, professionalism, and respect. It is disappointing that the behavior of one employee was enough to overshadow what could otherwise have been a pleasant stay.
Good location and helpful staff, but the hotel feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star property. Clean and adequate for sightseeing, but the rooms and amenities are fairly basic. Breakfast is not up to mark with only few options.
This hotel was originally nice. However, the AC went out on 2 floors our second night and instead of trying to comfort the guests without AC they were blaming an unknown hotel guest for this problem. The staff refused any compensation and basically said sucks you didn’t have AC but not our problem. The woman at the reception was incredibly rude upon handling this and was annoyed we had asked for any sort of refund for how miserable we were. Would not recommend this hotel as they cannot handle unplanned or unexpected events and were rude. Not everyone, the man who works the reception desk at night was very kind.
Very nice hotel, stayed here 19/3-2026 to 23/3-2026. Breakfast was great, service was great, rooms were clean and room service was perfect, they cleaned every day. Very convinient location, not far to walk to colosseum.
This hotel is in a quiet residential part of Rome, just outside the old walls. I really liked the neighborhood with cafes, several restaurants and 2 grocery stores nearby. It is a 15 minute walk to the metro. There are many bus connections nearby and it takes about 30 minutes to reach the city center by bus. The highlight of our stay was the buffet breakfast which offered almost everything you can imagine - hot, cold, sweet, savory - in a comfortable breakfast room. The staff and especially the manager were professional and accommodating. The room was small with limited storage. The heat was turned on and if the room was too warm, they recommended opening the windows (which let in the street noise of Rome). The mattresses were very soft.
