Reviews
We had a wonderful stay at Tree Charme Trilussa. We got the apartment with terrace. It was spacious and clean. We got to enjoy the beautiful views from the terrace every day. The location is great, close to everything that beautiful Rome has to offer. Staff was also very helpful. Overall a great experience.
We were there for my Birthday Weekend and loved it. Super central at the HotSpot for Bars & Restaurants in Trastevere and within 20 Minutes walking Distance to the City Center of Roma. Everything was clean and the Breakfast was good (for Italian Standards they offered enough 😉). Could be a bit loud until 2am, but we knew about it and brought Earplugs.
Positives: Location is fantastic, in a very charming and lively neighbourhood centrally located in Rome making everything walkable in minutes. Breakfast is simple, but tasty, and whilst the staff are only around briefly during the day, they are helpful and warm. The room, whilst a little more basic than those pictured, was functional enough, with a comfortable bed, and overall a very good option for the price. The negative however is the noise!!!! I live in a big city, so road noise, people in squares outside at night are not an issue for me, but here it is something else. My room was directly above a bar that is open until 2am every night with heavy bass music that beats continuously from around 10pm until they close making it impossible to even close your eyes. The speaker must be directly under the bed meaning every beat reverberates through the wall and the bed meaning you just can’t avoid it. Even with the earplugs provided you cannot ignore it. If you want to sleep later to make up for it, forget it. The room is also located right next to the breakfast terrace and the main reception desk meaning from 7am you will have people bumping around with plates and talking outside your door. If you want to nap during the day, again forget it… the square outside has musicians of varying talent playing throughout the day meaning even a nap will be prevented by bongos and drums. A charming hotel, at a good price, in a very nice part of Rome but after 3 days where I probably managed 3-4 hours of decent sleep a night, I’m leaving very, very tired!
The perfect stay in Trastevere! I spent three wonderful nights at Tree Charme Trilussa. Everyone there was welcoming and helpful. It was easy to find the place and my room was beautiful and perfectly comfortable. I slept well and enjoyed the view of the Piazza. Breakfast was wonderful every day. The terrace was pleasant and the selection of food was fresh and delicious. I loved the eggs--I haven't had such quality since I had my own chickens long ago. This is an ideal base for exploration of Rome. Walk across the bridge, or turn left for the Castel San Angelo and San Pietro. After breakfast each day, I went everywhere I could, and then came back to the room for a little rest and shower before going out at night. When I come back to Rome, I will book here again! I recommend Sottosopra for dining. This hotel is also safe and ideal for solo female travelers. Taxis are always available on the curb, and the general area is safe and well-lit. I dream of going back!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, and we loved the location. The staff were kind, always available, responsive to our questions, and offered recommendations that turned out to be both excellent and delicious. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
