We loved our time here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our large party staying in multiple rooms. The location was absolutely perfect, less than a block away from the Spanish steps and all the nearby shops, as well as a quick walk away from Borghese and Trevi Fountain. The best part might have been the rooftop patio for breakfast. We had an incredible time and will likely be staying here again next time we come back to Rome.

My husband and I stayed here for five nights on our honeymoon, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations set by the hotel's website or the service standards we anticipated. The most disappointing aspect was that the room we were given looked significantly different from the photos advertised online. In addition, we were not clearly informed at the time of booking that our room would be located in a completely separate building several blocks away from the main hotel. This came as an unpleasant surprise upon arrival and changed the overall experience considerably. Because this was our honeymoon, our travel agent had notified the hotel in advance. We were told management would look out for a possible upgrade and follow up with us during our stay, but we never heard from anyone. After our travel agent had to call twice, a bottle of inexpensive sparkling wine was eventually delivered to our room. While we appreciated the gesture, it felt more like an afterthought than a sincere acknowledgment of a special occasion. Breakfast was another disappointment. The pastries often tasted as though they were from the previous day and lacked the freshness we expected. That said, there were some positives. Having a washing machine in the room was incredibly convenient, especially during a longer trip, and the breakfast staff were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, I wish I could give a more enthusiastic review. The hotel has some nice features, but the lack of transparency regarding room location, the discrepancy between the advertised photos and the actual room, and the lack of follow-through on promises from management left us feeling disappointed during what was supposed to be a very special trip. For a stay marketed at this standard, I believe guests deserve greater transparency, more consistent service, and accommodations that accurately reflect what is advertised online.

We had an amazing stay at The Inn At The Spanish Steps! The hotel’s location was perfect—not even a block away from the Spanish Steps, making it easy to explore the city on foot. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We checked in at the main lobby and were welcomed with complimentary drinks on the rooftop while our room was being prepared. The staff then personally walked us to our room, which was located just down the street (V. Bocca di Leone, 63), and even transported our luggage for us. The room itself was gorgeous and felt more like a beautiful Roman apartment than a hotel room. Every detail made our stay comfortable and memorable. When it was time to check out, the staff once again went above and beyond by collecting our luggage and bringing it back to the main hotel to hold for us while we enjoyed a few more hours exploring the city. The combination of the incredible location, beautiful accommodations, and outstanding service made this one of our favorite stays. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome!

What a lovely hotel! All the staff were smiling, helpful and were sociable. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable as was the feel of the whole hotel. The location was the best, with only a few mins walk to all the big sites. Towards the end of the evening, we sat on the balcony for drinks, and it finished each day off perfectly. One member of the staff should be singled out “Gopal” looked after us extremely well. The only down side and it is a small one is we could not get the BBC news channel. Not a big problem but would have been nice.
