Excellent hotel and location. Air conditioning worked well, shower pressure was good enough, location was great and while initially worried about being next to the road the noise wasn’t bad at all. Only down is don’t bother with the breakfast, we bought it one day but apart from the fruit it was pretty bad and the eggs were terrible! The rooftop area for a drink was also terrific and underutilised Recommend overall
Upon arrival, our experience at reception wasn't quite up to the standard we expected. When we checked in, the receptionists were engaged in a conversation and didn't acknowledge us until they had finished a few minutes later. A simple greeting to let us know we'd been seen and that they’d be with us soon would have made a much better first impression. One issue my partner experienced was that the hotel doesn't provide irons or ironing boards. Instead, they offered a clothes steamer, which wasn't powerful enough for thicker fabrics such as chinos and heavy linen. Unfortunately, the steamer had a fault where it spat out hot water, causing a minor burn. While the hotel does offer a dry-cleaning service, it is quite expensive, and it seems unreasonable to have to pay for this when a quick iron would have been sufficient. I would expect a 4* hotel to have ironing facilities. Aside from these issues, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the rest of our stay, always greeting us warmly when we returned from dinner. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it a great size. The rooftop has a lovely view. The restaurant was excellent, with great food and attentive service at both lunch and dinner. We didn't have breakfast, so we can't comment on that. The bar area is pretty as is the terrace for dining, but the seats are a little worn. Overall, we had a positive experience and enjoyed our stay. With a warmer welcome at check-in, the addition of irons and ironing boards, and a little maintenance on the rooftop, the hotel could offer an even better guest experience.
Really nice hotel. We checked in here after going to an apartment which wasn’t what the pictures said. So we quickly found this hotel, we booked online and turned up about 30 minutes after. The room was ready and very clean. We were very happy to stay here. Fluffy bath robes and slippers supplied. All the staff have been very friendly. Cocktails on a rooftop bar. Breakfast viewing the colosseum. Really great hotel. Easy to access buses and metro nearby. Safe, clean and well maintained hotel. I would recommend staying here and would stay again if I visited Rome.
Stunning rooms and friendly staff. Room was beautiful and modern with speaker, hair dryer etc. staff were very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stay. That being said the upstairs bar wasn't great, it was overpriced for what was on offer and the mini bar in the room was extortionately priced. Disregarding these two points we'd love to stay again and would highly recommend
We had a great stay at Room Mate Collection Mia. The hotel was very clean, the staff was amazing, and they provided excellent local recommendations that helped make our trip even better. We were also able to check in early, which was a huge plus after traveling, and were welcomed with complimentary champagne to start our stay. The breakfast selection was also a highlight, with plenty of options to choose from each morning. The location was convenient for visiting the Colosseum, which was just a short walk away. While it was a bit farther from some of Rome's other major attractions, shopping areas, restaurants, and the Trevi Fountain, the area was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel's comfort and service.
