Reviews
I booked a room at Roma Trastevere Relais Guest House in Rome, and my stay was very good. The room was comfortable, the location was also very convenient, and the staff were kind and helpful. Overall, the quality-to-price ratio was really good. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place.
I don't recommend this hotel! I had a confirmed and fully paid booking via Agoda for two nights, but on the day of my arrival, the owner told me that the room was unavailable due to a problem with the bathroom. 2 stars only because the owner helped me find another place to stay for the night. However, the fact remains that my confirmed booking was not honoured, which caused me considerable stress and messed up my vacation plans.
This is not a 3 star hotel!!!! This is essentially a room in an apartment. It is 5 mins from the train station, so that is convenient. Room has balcony that is shared. They give you a card for “breakfast” which is downstairs to get a croissant and coffee. Everything in room felt old, the bed covers looked ancient and I am not sure when they were last washed, the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean but the toilet seat was broken, the shower was creaky etc. we were never shown where the kitchen was. In the end, we survived it for one night (booking mistake for us!) but I would only book here if you are really on a budget and know what you are getting into.
