Great location, short walk from train station. We walked from here to colosseum, to Vatican city and back with no issues. Rooms are small and older, to be expected. The room I booked was fine for one person but would be tight for 2. But AC worked great on 97F days!! Nice roof top for dinner or drinks. Friendly service. Would stay here again.

I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The views of Rome from the rooftop patio were astounding. Staff were excellent and the rooms were large and comfortable. The beds were seriously luxurious. The hotel itself is so central that you just need to put on your walking shoes and head out the door to see all of the local famous landmarks. (Make sure you have appropriate footwear). I would also recommend the hop on-hop off busses that will give you a thorough tour of the city with audio accompaniment. If I could give 6 stars I would! Beautiful hotel.

My husband and I stayed here in November, 2025. All the staff were super kind, helpful and spoke English. The room was cozy, very clean, had beautiful old-world style decor (not modern stark). The windows opened up to the piazza of Santa Maria Maggiore and it was stunning! We had fresh air when opened, but there was no noise when we closed the windows! The room seemed almost sound proof. The doors did not slam closed, like in American hotels. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and impressive! The restaurant is on the top floor with a gorgeous view of the city. Top notch quality food. We also ate downstairs in the small pub/lounge for lunch and it was so convenient and lovely. We had drinks inside at night on the top floor bar with elegant style. The price was affordable for our stay. We were so pleased about the service, convenience to Termini, and the rest of the city, the atmosphere, just everything. The furniture was comfy and we had just a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again, but for a much longer time than a weekend.

Wonderful hotel in Rome. The hotel is gorgeous and stays true to its Roman style. It is a really safe zone. There is a huge supermarket 2 blocks away and lots of places to eat nearby. It is next to Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, where Pope Francis was buried. This contributes in the safety of the zone. The rooms are pretty, the bathroom is really spacious and they’ve got a great view. The breakfast was excellent, with many Italian options and next to the terrace which made it really pleasant. The staff is great as well, super helpful and kind. I would 100% recommend this hotel.
