Reviews
My wife and I stayed here for four days during our trip to Rome, and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. Normally, I do extensive research before booking a hotel, but this time I booked in a hurry and didn't read any reviews beforehand. After making the reservation, I started reading some of the reviews online and honestly became a bit concerned about what to expect. However, our experience was quite the opposite. Upon arrival, we were offered the choice of staying at the main hotel or in one of their rooms located about a 10-minute walk away. We chose the latter, and it actually turned out to be an excellent location—just a few hundred meters from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The room itself was not luxurious, and no one would mistake it for a five-star hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. Housekeeping serviced the room daily while we were out exploring the city. What impressed us most was the service and approach by the staff. One evening, we noticed that we had run out of toilet paper late at night. We contacted the staff, and fresh supplies were delivered within just a few minutes. Throughout our stay, everyone was friendly, polite, and eager to help. I understand that there are many negative reviews, but based on our personal experience, everything worked perfectly. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and appreciated the flexibility, location, and attentive service. The hotel could do with some renewal and refurbishing, but we do feel that cost and expectations were met and a bit more.
It was the best decision ever, wonderful staff very helpful and kind. They give me instructions on places to go. After my check-out, they kept my luggage, so I was free to go around until my flight took off. Breakfast was included and it was a typical Italian breakfast. Best location, with a metro station 5 minutes away and a bus stop just 1 minute away. Colosseum 10 minutes walking and Trevy fountain, plenty of souvenir shops, a supermarket and restaurants nearby. Be aware that it isn't a 5-star hotel; however, it is perfect for a family stay, was clean, safe, and well located. The room was comfortable, warm and big enough. In my room, there wasn't a TV, but I don't mind, who went to Rome to watch TV? Is not a fancy hotel but it's great to rest.
