Fantastic 3star hotel (dont expect a fancy room- things are super clean and comfy however). The staff are very friendly and really try to help. The location is excellent. Once you have your bearings, avoid the tourist trap restaurants toward the Tiber and go to the more local spots behind the hotel. If you enjoy walking, you can walk to most of the key interest spots easily from here. Thank you Hotel Trastevere & team
Wonderful hotel with a central location in Trastevere. I was looking for a quaint, locally ran hotel and this delivered. Charming and helpful staff. Clean, cute and comfortable room with a nice view of the plaza.
If you’re considering between hotels and airbnb, let this be your voice to reason. Hotel Trastevere and the staff were very accommodating and friendly for our week stay. The rooms can be tight, but hopefully you won’t be needing them for more than a roof and pillow at night! Each morning they curate a fine breakfast with custom espresso drinks made with such love. The staff also enjoyed helping in any capacity. From directions to taxi to more shampoo. How grateful I am for them. In the heart of Trastevere, the BEST place to stay in Rome, you are perfect situated for no more than a 30min walk anywhere of interest. The piazza behind the hotel is a great place to start the day and enjoy the sights and smells the city has to offer. Can get noisy outside at night but shutting the window is the easy solution for that. No fridge or microwave (ik, my American is showing😂). Mirror in bathroom and main room. Go and book this wonderful albergo. Go see the eternal city.
From the moment we were greeted by Olivia we felt at home at this hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t get their names but the lady and gentleman who serve breakfast looked after us so well. The location of the hotel is perfect. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
