We stayed at Hotel Romano for a couple of days before a cruise. The hotel is in an excellent location, right across from the Roman Forum between the National Monument and the Colosseum. Walking distance to many popular sites of interest, and less than 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum metro station. No problems finding taxis or using public transportation. The hotel can also arrange private transportation to/from the airport or cruise terminal if needed (we took the train/taxis). Family run, with very friendly staff. Lots of restaurants close by. Air conditioning worked which is important in summer. We rented 2 rooms, one for the kids and one for us which worked out very well. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and surprisingly quiet for being close to a lot of activity. A great choice for a base of operations during your trip to Rome.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our holiday. The room was spotless and very well maintained. The only small issue was that the Wi-Fi signal wasn't very reliable in our room. A special thank you to Peter at the reception. Our 3-year-old son looked forward to talking with him every single morning, and Peter's kindness made our stay even more special. Thank you so much for everything. We had a fantastic holiday and would be happy to stay here again!

The hotel is a small boutique with modern rooms. I stayed in a single twin traveling alone. It was small but very comfortable! The bed and pillows were great. The best part was the Concierge, Peter. He made sure I was comfortable, made helpful suggestions, and sent me to great restaurants. I would stay here again!

We stayed 2 nights here for our trip. This is an amazing hotel with an awesome location. Santos was super friendly and helpful. The room was awesome, and we would highly recommend this hotel. It is 2 blocks from the Colosseum, and across the street from the Roman Forum! What an awesome hotel!

Lovely room with excellent maid service. Outstanding reception staff, especially Santo who gave us the best welcome including providing a map and highlighting all the sights and how to get there. Only downside was the noise from the restaurants outside early in the morning. I'd highly recommend.
