A Hidden Gem in Rome Although this was not our first trip to Rome, it was our first stay at Hotel Manfredi, and I can confidently say that it will not be our last. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel less like guests and more like family. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the Spanish Steps—yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. It truly feels like a hidden gem. The rooms were charming and quaint, each with its own character. Some rooms offered both a shower and bathtub, while others featured showers only, allowing for different preferences. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we especially appreciated the option of different types of pillows when requesting extras. There were always plenty of fresh towels, and the housekeeping staff did an exceptional job keeping everything spotless and welcoming. What truly sets Hotel Manfredi apart, however, is its people. Dalila provided recommendations for two fabulous restaurants that ended up being highlights of our trip. Andrea was incredibly helpful in assisting us with navigating the city and ensuring that we had everything we needed. Davide was simply wonderful all around—from serving delicious cappuccinos in the mornings to offering thoughtful suggestions and ideas for our daily adventures in Rome. There wasn’t a single time we walked through the hotel without being greeted with a smile or asked if there was anything we needed. That level of attentiveness and kindness is rare and made our stay incredibly special. I would absolutely stay at this adorable hotel again, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. If you’re looking for a beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and an unbeatable location near the Spanish Steps, Hotel Manfredi is the place to stay. Thank you to Dalila, Andrea, Davide, and the entire staff for making our time in Rome so memorable. We cannot wait to return.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here with my family in the connecting rooms. The rooms were clean, charmingly decorated, and comfortable. The A/C was great (as it was a very hot week in Rome). The daily breakfast was very good, and the stay was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was excellent with close proximity to the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, nice shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Decent hotels in Rome are expensive. Hotel Manfredi is worth it. Rooms are colorful yet traditional and comfortable. Don’t worry about the mattress. It may feel hard but you will sleep like a baby. Quiet rooms, amazing breakfast buffet, and a third generation of owners truly care about your experience. And all on THE best street in Rome with everything around the corner including some great restaurants that are very well known to Romans and not just tourists. Hotel begins on the third floor with only one small elevator so be aware. Totally safe for anyone traveling alone.

It was our first time in Rome and this was the perfect little hotel for our visit. The staff was friendly. The accommodations were more than comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. And the location was probably the best feature of all. It was situated just steps from the Spanish steps, a short walk to the Colosseum, Pantheon etc. I would highly recommend and I would definitely go back.

My family and I stayed at Hotel Manfredi Suite in Rome from April 2–8 before heading to Amalfi, and we had a wonderful experience. From the time of booking through our arrival, communication was clear, prompt, and helpful. Our room was clean and well-prepared, with plenty of towels and comfortable bedding. The buffet-style breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options each morning. What truly stood out was the staff—every single team member was welcoming, informative, and genuinely kind. The location is perfect and made it easy to explore the city. If I return to Rome, I would absolutely choose to stay here again. - Marcella
