A charming, cozy hotel in a perfect location for exploring all the city's attractions. The staff is among the friendliest I've ever encountered in a hotel. Especially Alberto 🌞. Ideal for groups, as it offers rooms with two to six beds. Numerous outdoor spaces invite you to relax with friends. A two-story courtyard and a two-story rooftop terrace are available. Prati is a relatively safe neighborhood at night.

I stayed at the Hotel Casa Valdese Rome for six nights. I was given a spacious room on the ground floor with two bedroom areas, a kitchen/dining area and a bathroom. All the staff I met were kind and helpful and made my stay memorable! Hotel Casa Valdese Rome is set in a beautiful building with panoramic rooftop views across the Vatican City, including the dome of St Peter Basilica. It's a shame that it is so underused, mainly because there are no bar up there or consistent sunshine to attract guests. In my five visits overthe duration of my stay, I saw only five people, including a cleaner. Although advertised as having a restaurant, guests were not able to get any meals, as the hotel caters only for groups from outside. I was not fully able to understand why that was. However, breakfast was great and there was enough food to choose from. This beautiful hotel is located in the favourable district of Prati, where you can walk to most major attractions and restaurants. Transport choices are excellent, if you are not in the mood to walk. I recommend Hotel Casa Valdese Rome highly for friendly and helpful staff, great location, fantastic views from the rooftop and spacious and comfortable rooms. I hope that they will be in a position one day to offer guests evening meals and bar facilities and to gain a five star rating from me.
