This is a hidden gem, but lies slap bang in the middle of a very desirable and pleasant neighbourhood. Handy for visits to Vatican, views of Basilico di San Pietro from some rooms. Lovely, kind and genuinely caring and attentive staff. I forgot my headphones, they found them and contacted me before I’d even realised! Lovely rooms, comfortable and safe.
I messaged them at around 9am asking if we could check in early, and they said they would try their best. We arrived at 11am after an early flight, and they quickly accommodated us at 12pm after the previous guest having only left at 11am! The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. The location is perfect, being located near St. Peter's Square and a few great restaurants. I personally enjoyed the design elements such as the dark wood, the LED headboard, the towel heaters, and the ring light mirror. The front desk was always very responsive and accommodating, and the receptionist with blue bangs was always dressed so fashionably!
The good - location was great for The Vatican. a quick walk . The breakfast was really good. And it was lose to some good dining. This was our "treat " hotel spending more on this than any other hotel on our 2 week vacation. It unfortunately didn't live up to that. The room was soooo small. We are used to small rooms in Rome but this was too small. We barely had room for our 2 suitcases, and certainly no where to open them. The air conditioner didn't work and our simple request for additional pillows for my husband went ignored (twice requested)
