Reviews
Perfect hotel. Location is amazing- one block to Piazza Navona. Nothing is more than 15 minutes walking distance. Staff was professional and helpful. Rooms and hotel impeccably clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was fantastic (I’m from NYC) breakfast was delightful. Views from rooftop restaurant were lovely I will absolutely be back! Highly recommend!
Highly recommended, truly a 5 star experience from start to finish. Rooms are a bit tiny but very large bathroom and the service is impeccable and understated. Just a few seconds away from piazza Navona but tucked in a lovely quiet square. The rooftop terrace is lovely too.
First, the restaurant upstairs (Mater Terrae) is absolutely fantastic and the views are excellent. We stayed at this hotel this year after having an excellent lunch at Mater Terrae in 2024 - the restaurant was just as good this time, but the hotel was a real disappointment. The lobby and breakfast area are a little dated but fine, kind of old school European luxury. The breakfast itself was pretty good. The other common areas are in need of a refurb - the carpets outside the elevator and on the stairs are stained and sad. The rooms (we stayed in a Richard Meyer mezzanine for around €1,000 a night) are absolutely not worth the money. There were stains and scuffed paint on the walls, mildew in the bathroom, and the layout was terrible. The 20-year old furniture in the tiny sitting area was extremely uncomfortable and the ‘balcony’ was barely big enough for the very dirty table that was placed on it. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable. Definitely nowhere near 5-star accommodation despite the price point. We loved the location and the restaurant as previously mentioned should not be missed. But steer clear of staying here.
This hotel is truly a 5 star hotel & experience. From the minute you walk in your greeted with amazing friendly staff, glass of champagne w/ small bites. Great location, excellent breakfast with a harpist & very nice rooms. They even had Dyson hair dryers and straighter :) Room was a bit small however seems to be the standard in Rome & the fabulous bathroom made up for it with separate soaking tub & shower. Highly recommend this hotel:)
This stay was an unplanned last minute decision for me. As a travel company I generally plan well in advance for hotel stays and book FAM stays, this time though they had no idea who I was or the company I represented ( all feedback is as a guest). I was beyond impressed with the Rome hotel, all employees were exceptional, they took great care of me as I was travelling solo. Rooms, food and location are superb. I had not planned on adding new endorsements to our hotel recommendations to our travellers but after this stay, this particular hotel has moved to the top of our endorsements for Rome. Thank you so much
