Reviews
A bittersweet stay. The absolute highlight was the staff: extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful; they even insisted on carrying our luggage to our room. The floor staff was also very courteous. Unfortunately, however, the property has several critical issues: Room and Maintenance: The rooms are smaller than the photos on the reservation. While overall cleanliness is good, the state of maintenance could be improved: the white walls have black streaks, and a bedside lamp stopped working properly after a few minutes, flickering intermittently. They also apparently sprayed air freshener in the room, which lingers and is very annoying. Sleep Comfort: I really appreciated the four high pillows provided as requested. However, despite having requested a double bed, two single beds were pushed together, creating an annoying dip in the center during the night. Bathroom: The large shower and tiled floors are a plus, but the cleanliness of the shower enclosure was superficial (caked deposits on the top and bottom). Furthermore, the sink drain didn't flow properly, causing unsanitary water retention. More frequent drain checks are essential. Lighting: The bathroom is too dark to apply makeup properly; unfortunately, imperfections in makeup are only noticeable once you step out into natural light. The additional hairdryer was appreciated. Breakfast and Ambience: The breakfast was average, penalized by the lack of croissants. A sore point: the basement area had a strong cigarette odor for about 15 minutes, a detail that unfortunately negatively impacts the overall rating. In summary: a potentially excellent hotel thanks to its staff, but it requires maintenance and attention to detail to fully justify the price.
Very nice hotel, very kind staff, perfect location within walking distance to all the popular attractions, I would definitely stay here again. Also very nice breakfast!
